The last time we looked at the light curve of this object, was in week 26. This was pre having the HOYS website, when the posts where exclusively placed on the Facebook Group. The source is a background pulsating variable in the field of NGC7129, probably at a distance of about 4000pc.
We show the V and I-Band light curve. Note that the star is quite red, hence the V-band data has been shift up by 2 magnitudes. While there are a few outliers, one can clearly see the long term and shorter term variations over the last 900 days. It is also evident that the changes are much stronger at the shorter wavelength. While the large drop in the middle changes the I-band brightness by about half a magnitude, the V-band brightness drops by 1.4 magnitudes in the same time.
These sort of objects are interesting by-products of our survey and also interesting to investigate.
