We don’t just publish our results in papers (or as small notes in these posts). We do also give presentations about the project at conferences and astronomy societies. With my student having given two talks this week about HOYS in Pune, India (one science focussed, one tailored to amateur astronomers), this might be a good opportunity to remind people about all these presentations.
The picture above shows our map of talks we have given, and which are planned. In total there have been 19 research and science focussed talks now and 54 specifically for amateur astronomy societies. The latter have so far mainly been focussed on the UK, but we have started giving online talks in other places. One is coming up next February in Cincinnati.
Thus, if you are a member of an astronomical society and want us to give a talk, please get in touch and we will arrange something.
